SERGEY SARAJYAN – Honorary Academic Artist<\/em>
<\/strong>Composer-Pianist, Emeritus Director and Professor at Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sergey Sarajyan is coming from family of musicians.  (Father – Georgi Sarajev, founder of
piano school in Armenia. Mother, Anna Sarajeva- singer,  one of leading professors of
YKSC)
Sergey’s musical talents showd up from early childhood and at the age of 6 He was
excepted  in Tchaikovsky Central Music School. He graduated school by performing 1st
piano concerto with orchestra of P. Tchaikovsky. 
Bachelor’s,  Master’s and Doctor’s degrees received from Yerevan Komitas State
Conservatory (YKSC)
During many years was Head of piano departament (1993-2001) and later becomes a
Rector of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. (2001-2011)
Concert career  start’s in 1970’s. Almost during 20 years was performing in collaboration
with cellist Vagram Saradjian.
