Her piano artistry is highly acclaimed by many renowned musicians, including E. Gilels, A. Fisher, Monique de la Bruchollerie, E. Ax, D. Lively, E. Virsaladze, and E. Kissin. Her recording of P. Hindemith&#8217;s \u00abLudus Tonalis\u00bb was praised by Sviatoslav Richter, and her performance of R. Schumann&#8217;s \u00abDavidsb\u00fcndlert\u00e4nze\u00bb during her triumphant concert at Salle Gaveau in Paris was recognized by critics as &#8216;one of the best ever heard.&#8217; Svetlana&#8217;s repertoire includes more than 60 piano and orchestra concertos, among them all the concertos by Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven, as well as numerous monographic programs. Her father, Hovahnnes Navassardian, a historian, was one of the pioneering architects of the public education system in Armenia. Svetlana&#8217;s mother, Hranush Petrossian, was a mathematician and classical singer. An enchanting lyric-dramatic soprano and an extraordinary artistic personality, she had a decisive influence on Svetlana&#8217;s artistic achievements. &#8220;The memory of my parents takes me back to Alaverdi in my childhood &#8211; the place where my dreams took flight, to which my parents remained &#8216;faithful&#8217; their entire lives.&#8221; (S.
